The small packet of wild flower seeds I purchased this spring have started to bloom. I planted them in the middle of the yard where an old stump had been and had to protect them from weed spray & lawn mowers.
It's fascinating to peer inside of this clump of flowers & spot Bachelor Buttons, Poppies', Babies Breath and many more blooms.
What interesting things are growing in your yard?
Looks like a little patch of beauty! I don't have a green thumb whatsoever...but my dad gave me a coconut a while back which is actually growing pretty well seeming that I have done nothing to it but bury it. I had a few pots of some flowers I threw outside because they were not doing so well which were starting to come back. My hubby ended up throwing them out without asking, grrrrr!
ReplyDeleteI'm not growing anything because I have no yard but I love wandering around Portland admiring others handy work, especially the roses. It is the city of roses afterall!
